The mission of the TwinPrebioEnz project is to increase scientific capacity of the FTM in field of prebiotic technologies and facilitate more efficient transfer of scientific results to novel innovative processes and products by gaining new expertise from project partners from EU institutions. Twinning activities during project timeline are organized in a way to create new generation of scientists capable to design complete novel prebiotic technologies by adding to their existing expertise in bioprocess design novel expertise in enzyme engineering and analysis of human microbiota for measuring prebiotic activity. It is also aimed that, by efficient dissemination and communication activities, FTM is recognized as eminent institution with respect to research and innovation in field of prebiotics, capable to make productive links with local and international SMEs and industrial partners in developing novel projects and collaborations.
