As team members of TwinPrebioEnz and PrIntPrEnzy projects, Prof. Dr. Rada Pjanović, Dr. Marija Ćorović, Dr. Ana Milivojević and Dr. Milica Simović had the privilege of attending such an amazing event In-cosmetics Global 2024 held in Paris, France, 16 – 18. April 2024. It was an incredible experience, filled with various technical seminars, invaluable networking opportunities, and engaging discussions with fellow personal care professionals.
During the first day, they had meetings with two companies, Mibelle Biochemistry and Provital SA, where their innovative active ingredients and products were presented, while companies’ representatives were acquainted with TwinPrebioEnz and PrIntPrEnzy projects technology and products.
Additionally, they attended four technical seminars related to novel skin delivery systems, formulation of the products and cosmetic products targeting skin microbiome:
– Revolutionize delivery systems: Biomimetic exosomes derived from botanicals (hosted by Active Concepts)
– EquiBiotics®: The postbiotic line for a new approach to cosmetic (hosted by ROELMI HPC SRL)
– Formulating products for all (hosted by Azelis) and
– The future of skin microbiome care: Insights, advancements, approaches (hosted by Sequential).
On the second day, they attended four technical seminars focused on skin prebiotics, plant-based active ingredients and cosmetic formulations with antimicrobial and skin longevity properties:
– From farmer to skin: Inulin’s journey to personal care (hosted by Cosun Biobased Experts)
– Formulation Friendly: The new definition of natural antimicrobial (hosted by Active Micro Technologies),
– An active ingredient derived from plant cell culture’s extracellular vesicles (hosted by ACTV Biotechnology) and
– Longevity biomarkers as new targets for skin beauty & health (hosted by OxiProteomics).
During the third day, they attended three technical seminars related to advanced carrier systems and novel approaches in skin microbiome therapy:
– The menopausal skin microbiome – what do you need to know? (hosted by MyMicrobiome AG),
– Mastering Emossome & Exposome: Sparking a revolutionary era in hair science (hosted by ALGAKTIV)
– SkinBac®: Expanding Uses for Postbiotics as Skin Response Modifiers (hosted by Probiotical).
Additionally, they had also listened marketing trends seminar:
– Tech Eden Beauty: Rethinking the relationship between nature and technology (hosted by Peclers Paris).
During the visit, they made connections with presenters from the fairs “Innovation zone” and companies offering skin microbiome related active ingredients, products and/or analyses. They were acquainted with their products and services portfolio and presented TwinPrebioEnz project concept and active ingredients to them.
